AccessBank Continues to Support Financial Literacy Among Women Entrepreneurs in Azerbaijan

AccessBank held another series of training sessions within the framework of the "Women's Empowerment Centers in Azerbaijan" project, implemented by the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) in conjunction with the "Improving the Living Conditions of Internally Displaced Persons in Azerbaijan" project, implemented by the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons.

The training, organized in Baku, focused on increasing financial literacy. During the training, Rauf Agayev, Regional Manager of Thomaz International-Azerbaijan, led discussions on "What to Consider When Borrowing a Loan: Pros and Cons." Ilkin Agayev, a representative of the Azerbaijan Credit Bureau (AKB), spoke about the activities and services of the AKB. Hikmet Aliyev and Orkhan Akhundov, representatives of the insurance company Pasha Sigorta, conducted a session titled "Together Without Risk: The Importance of the Insured for Business."

Parvin Kahramanova, a representative of the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan, explained to entrepreneurs "What is Financial Literacy?" and discussed the "Financial Literacy Resources of the Central Bank." She also familiarized entrepreneurs with the conditions created for professional development and selecting suitable financial services.

Following this, Parvin Mammadov, a representative of AccessBank, conducted a session for entrepreneurs on "Consumer Rights Protection" and answered participants' questions.

At a training session held in the city of Lankaran, clinical psychologist Konul Gasimova discussed "Emotional Intelligence and Client Relationships" with women entrepreneurs, emphasizing the importance of emotions in communications.

With the support of AccessBank, the next training sessions will be held in the cities of Ganja and Sheki, focusing on topics such as "Emotional Intelligence and Client Relationships," "Financial Literacy and Access to Finance," "Photo Sessions for SMM," and "Women's Leadership and Enhancing the Role of Women in Decision-Making Processes."
